Hometown Business Connections was born out of a simple belief — that local businesses are the backbone of our community, and that nobody should have to figure it out alone.

We’re a nonprofit organization based in Auburn, Indiana, dedicated to connecting small business owners, supporting new entrepreneurs, and creating real mentorship opportunities between emerging business leaders and experienced ones.

Our founder, Tyler Gonser, started this organization because he saw a gap in DeKalb County. There were talented, hardworking people with great ideas and no one to connect them to resources, relationships, or the encouragement they needed to take the next step.
That changes now.
